NETHERTON TROOPER KILLED

Mr. Charles Haigh, of Netherton Square, formerly stationmaster of Netherton, has been officially informed that his son, Trooper Frank Edwards Haigh, of the 7th Dragoon Guards, has been killed at the front. Before he enlisted on the 29th of August Trooper Haigh, who was in his 19th year, was employed as a clerk in the goods departments at Huddersfield Station. He was a forward in the second team of the Huddersfield Northern Union Club.
